Hey if you are considering competing in college there is a meeting you need to be at next week.  Wednesday October 26th at 7pm in the auditorium.

Also for some information here is his e-mail to the coaches.

Dear Coaches,
First I apologize if this is a duplicate email.  I am sending a second time as there are indications that the first one didn’t go out.  I will also be sending some follow up emails that will contain important information about the event.

As you know, I will be presenting the nationally acclaimed “College Recruiting Simplified”, sponsored by the NFL Players Association and ESPNrise, official partners of NCSA Athletic Recruiting, to the Copper Hills High School athletes and their parents Wednesday night, October 26th at 7:00pm. Art Erickson has reserved the auditorium for this meeting.
I would greatly appreciate it if each of you would inform and remind any student/athlete who plays sports at Copper Hills about this meeting. I have also attached a PDF of the event and hope that each of you can help email this to the parents, especially since there is no school Thursday and Friday.  This meeting is for all sports, boys and girls and is open to everyone at all ability levels (in other words, everyone who is on a team) Each athlete will receive recruiting tools, online college search maps and one interview from a national scout to help the families target the right schools. These tools and services are complimentary from NCSA and their partners mentioned above.

I have found, in my experience, that the key to a well attended event is the coach.  Please encourage your athletes to attend with their families.  Many athletes won’t understand the relevancy of this meeting until they attend so your encouragement is appreciated.   As you know, kids need to be reminded often.  Again, This meeting is for every boy and girl who plays on a team regardless of ability levels. I focus mainly on academics, character, and dedication to one’s sport and team (the 3 most important things a college coach looks for).
Here is a link to a short video from the Roy High event held last Monday.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oyz9qFY4l44
Notice what the kids have to say about the event.  I assure you, the families who attend will thank you for letting them know about this meeting.
I hope to see each of you there as well.

Here’s a promotional video from an event he already did.
