Goals…

Well Monday we will have the kids set personal goals set for the year but we have one goal for this year as a team.  The school has agreed to meet us 1/2 way on a new mat.  I will work to get exact pricing but we are looking at about $4,000 that we need to raise as a team to get new mats.  We can do it!! Between our fundraising and the employment opportunity that Coach Humpherys has offered we can easily reach this and some.  We are also wanting to get a mat lamp installed in the gym over our mat, this adds an exciting feel to home meets!! The wrestling room is getting an exciting new look with new cabinets for storage of gear.  We have permission to paint in there.  We are getting a nice new case just outside the room to put weight classes and a picture of the varsity kid.

I am feeling the excitement level way up this year, I hope the boys are too.  We have notched it up a bit this year and are seeing the changes.  I hope the parents can get behind this momentum and help us reach our goals.  Fundraising details are still coming but Happenings books are a part of it, they are for sale for $25 and include 6 $5 basically gift cards, they are not buy one get one’s but can be used alone to different places so it pays for itself in just that.
